MAGIC Hundred Day 18— I’m BAAACKK!

Well, I’m back in the UK after my trip to Thailand so my emails and blogposts can be a lot more regular and I can nag you all again : )

Anyway, here’s my thought and mini-challenge for you today : )

Today is all about…

Adventure!

C’mon, you know that there’s something you’ve always wanted to try, right?

An experience you’ve always wanted to have?

For me it’s travel and adventure sports and I love having new and unusual experiences that take me outside of my normal routine.

It simply makes me feel more… ME!

You know, the same is true for you too.

You’re frustrated in life to the degree that you don’t be, do or have the experiences that you want to and, conversely, you become happier to the degree that you’re taking action on those same things.

They don’t have to be skydiving, scuba diving or fast car racing (though they CAN be!).

You can still experience adventure by taking up dance lessons, getting into the countryside for a weekend, going camping or any number of things.

The definition of adventure is yours to decide.

So decide.

Then do!

Tell us what you’re going to do to add some adventure into your life this week then come back and tell us when you’ve done it.

I dare ya! : )

      Dax,

Nice Pic! Still banging away at the list. No adventures yet, very busy. This weekend may hold some more adventure in it.

      Much Success,

      Dax and Friends,

      Where are y’all?

If y’all are reading this allow me to give a status report on my M-100.

OK, I hit a rough patch this past weekend and this week. The speed of the M-100 was a little overwhelming for me, but I toughed it out and torn and tattered I am rising from the ashes.

Success hit quickly and mentally I was not ready. I started to question myself from all angles. I let the past and the future take control of my psyche. This was not fun, but here’s the good side. It also made me truly learn what living for the moment and only looking forward really means. I can’t tell you exactly how I came through it, but if any of y’all are experiencing this. Stay really, really mentally strong and keep looking up to the surface because when you come up for air, that air fills the spirit with faith.

I read a story while searching for an answer. I don’t remember the story word for word, but what really stood out was the image a young football player who was running in for a touchdown and he only looked forward to that goal. He made it! He learned the time before that when he looked over his shoulder to look for his opponents he tripped himself up and was tackled.

Family, friends, physical health, mental health, and spiritual health are at the cornerstone of my M-100 and any goal or endeavor that I seek.

I hope that all are doing well, much success to all.

Your friend in strength and fitness,
      Mike Guardiola

      Hi all~

I got a little sidetracked after an unexpected trip became necessary and I ended up spending the week out of town, thinking my goals would just have to wait.

Well, I had to re-prioritize, but I did find a way to keep working on at least some of my fitness and personal goals. Although my days have been consumed with the needs of ailing family members, I have spent my evenings down at the local rec center and the pool before reading for a few hours before bed.

The exercise has helped me stay sane and tonight I look forward to beating my brother in racquetball ~ it’ll be the first time I’ve played in years so I guess I should try to be a tad more humble, eh? It’ll be followed by races in the pool where he’ll proceed to beat my times rather impressively, so I gotta at least make a good showing. :)

I can’t wait to get back home and on this adventure goal challenge. Hope y’all are ready with some great stories by then!

      Peace.
